Well looks like mother nature is throwing another wrench at us with the weekend forecast. Hopefully their wrong again, none the less drop in for a cold one and maybe a bite to eat. We have BBQ ribs (while they last) and a lovely Chicken salad sandwich for specials this week.
We’ve got a music treat this Sunday, Lexi Parr Trio will be playing {weather permitting} from 3-7 in the beer garden!
Face mask are recommended but not required.
What ever you do be safe and enjoy life.
Well folks,
Going into this weekend we are starting our 16th year since acquiring the General store! So this weekend we’re having a little thank you weekend…a bit toned down from years gone past because of the fear and uncertainty in many customers. We are still planning on music both Saturday and Sunday, with a couple food specials….we will be serving Smoked Pork Tenderloin and smoked pulled pork served with house slaw.
We do have live music scheduled thru Labor Day, and we’ll see what happens between now and then before committing to much more.
Keep in mind when headed our way, mask are not required, so if that makes you uncomfortable you may want to avoid the crowds.
Have a great week and see ya this weekend!
Well, we made it thru the 4th of July! Decent weekend despite the heat.
This weekends special will be Brisket! serving up all weekend.
We have Meatplow for music this Sunday so come out and enjoy life away from the city bullshit!
It’s party time this Saturday folks! We will be having a hog roast, music from 4-8 and a fireworks show at 9;30!
Our apologies to everyone who’s been trying to call, our phone has been down for 2 weeks, but is now fixed.
The Inn is booked for the holiday weekend, so we have no rooms available.
Get out there and enjoy life!
Hey folks,
Anybody out there? facebook has me frozen on the Diggs site, so here’s the spot to check what’s going on.
So here’s the scoop, we are open 100 percent, we’re still using disposable tray’s, popcorn is in individual bags, and we are still asking folks to dispose of their empty bottles and cans as well as food scrapes.
We are doing live music every Sunday, this week we have the Mississippi Man. Sunday music is 3-7
On the 4th of July we will be doing a hog roast, the Adam Bartels band will play 4-8 and a great fireworks show at 9:30.
Can’t believe the leaves are turning….WTF? Another summer has raced by us, and fall is right around the corner. As most of you know, we moved the “You don’t know Jack” run from July to the last week in September, which is right around the corner. This year it falls on Saturday September 24th. We will be leaving the Diggs around 11:30, so come on down and have some fun as well as help us raise a little$ for cancer research. Get out there and enjoy life!
Can’t believe it’s already the %$#@ing end of July…WTH. Weather has been co-operating decently, although a few rainy days mixed in. We did have to put the Wundo’s inside this week due to the extreme heat and humidity. We did manage 6 weeks in a row with music in the beer garden, hopefully this week we can get Classical Blast playing out side.
We do have our music festival coming up on August 12,13, and 14th. We have Family Business cranking it up Friday night at 8, Blackwater Gin and a hog roast in beer garden Saturday, Swamp Donkeys playing Saturday night inside, and Aaron Williams and the Hoodoo finish it off Sunday afternoon in the beer garden, so mark down the dates!
Political scene is a complete mess as well as race relations across the country…think about it as the election draws near…I will give some of my worthless coments as time nears…stay tuned!
As many of you know, we are raffling off a custum built chopper for Albrecht Acres. We Promised them we would sell 1100 tickets @ $10 each….well it’s been just over a year and we still need to sell just under 400 tickets yet. Even if you don’t ride, or think it’s a crazy machine (which it is), remember it’s for charity for crying out loud! Plus who wouldn’t want that baby parked in their garage, or give it to whoever as the best $10 present $%#@ing ever! So drop in and by a ticket or 2 and help us help Albrech Acers.
